The Life-Changing Impact of a Daily MORNING PRACTICE.

Some people are just not morning people, and some people swear by the beauty and the benefits of waking up early and having a morning routine.

Whether you choose to wake up at owl hours or a little later like a sunrise hour, that’s a personal preference. However, everyone agrees that having something as simple as daily morning practice is one of the key foundations for the day and your life.

1. The simplicity of having a daily anchor: All human beings need a balance of novelty, stability, and rhythm. And having a simple anchor like a daily morning practice at the start of the day, allows us to feel safe, stable, and centered to continue to build our day on, and work on our new goals and aspirations. No matter what happens in the day, or how bad things may get knowing that you have a daily grounding daily anchor helps us re-set and re-build every day.

2. Activates our energy, momentum, and positivity for the day: Having a morning practice of things that we enjoy doing, that ignites us is very helpful to keep us activated and energized for the rest of the day. We carry that feeling, that energy, that momentum with us into all our daily life projects and our families.

3. Most important things are done before the rest of the world has woken up: When having morning practice becomes a daily thing, we realize that a lot of the most important things get done before people in the world get up. And this is an amazing feeling!

One of the best books for how to get started on developing a morning practice is Robin Sharma’s 5:00 am club.

The book is pretty easy to read and has been very inspirational in helping millions around the world get started on creating and starting morning practices. Robin Sharma has been helping people shine for a long time since his first book, ‘The monk who sold his Ferrari’.

In a later post, we will get into what is a good morning routine, and the answer to that is pretty simple: Whatever works for you! The most important thing is to get started, and you will find that every day you will learn what works and does not work for you.

Shine On, and wishing you the best to inspire and help others shine as well!
